I give up.

Some people have accused petting zoos of perpetuating animal abuse. Those little kids can be mean. They like to pull on ears and tails. Plus, it is so tantalizing for the animals. They see us come, think they are going to be adopted, but end up trapped right there and kept on display. And, who likes to be petted? I mean, really, people!

Petting Zoo Safety

It is important that when you are taking your kids to a petting zoo, that you keep some key factors in mind to ensure their safety. Animals have bacteria that are fine for them but will hurt us. If you forget to wash your hands after petting an animal
then you might get sick. Make sure to ask where the hand wash spots can be found before you enter the exhibition. Also, do not bring your own food to a petting zoo because your food might make the animals sick. They can only eat their own kind of food. Make sure that you do not hurt the animals because they might bite you if you play with them too hard. Be safe!

Petting Zoo in Tucson

Here is a truly fantastic petting zoo. It is a seasonal zoo, and takes place in the autumn during pumpkin harvesting. You can take your kids for pumpkins, and introduce them to the animals at the same time. Everyone needs a friend or two, and these baby goats will surely make good friends!
